The successful International Executive Master of Auditing (IEMA) celebrates its 10^th anniversary this year. IEMA is a post master study that focuses on internationally oriented auditors and is a partnership between Maastricht University (UM),
VU University Amsterdam (VU) and Florida State University (FSU). This program is being offered in English and is led by Roger Meuwissen (UM) and Oscar van Leeuwen (VU).
In these 10 years, almost 200 students from 43 different nationalities have completed the theoretical part of the RA track. IEMA has a proven track record.

Roger Meuwissen: ‘This program is unique because in addition to the RA title with some extra modules, students can also obtain the English CA title and the American CPA title.’

Oscar van Leeuwen: ‘By giving full-time post-master education in 6 two-week seminars over the course of 2 years, the students are during the seminars focused on education and we can also give them full attention.
This is reflected in the high appreciation from students and above-average passing rates’.

Meuwissen: ‘Experience shows how important a tailor-made study program is because the international students each have a unique individual study background.
If necessary, we offer a corresponding (part-time) Master of Science study through UM or VU, of course also in English.’

The program is also known for its international and experienced team of lecturers, a good balance between work and study, a personal and interactive way of teaching, and the international experience that students gain.

In October, the 10-year anniversary activities will take place in Maastricht during the October seminar.
